Our story

Nobody taught us. Someone should teach them.

I've met brilliant people in their late twenties - engineers, doctors, designers - completely bewildered by their first salary, their first contract, their first investment. Nobody taught them. It wasn't their fault.

We spend fourteen years preparing kids for exams, and almost no time preparing them for the decisions that will actually shape their lives - how to handle money, how to negotiate, how to choose well when it matters. Those lessons arrive late, and they arrive expensive.

Skillday started with a simple question: what if those skills were learned at 12 instead of 27? Not as another subject with worksheets and tests, but the way kids actually learn - through stories, and through doing.

So that's what we build. One short animated story a day, drawn from an Indian kid's real life - pocket money, festival shopping, a first UPI payment. Then a quest that takes the lesson off the screen and into the real world: a supermarket, a family budget, a phone bill.

We're starting with money, and we're starting from Hyderabad. Time, communication, and decision-making are next. If you're a parent who wishes someone had handed you this at 12 - you're exactly who we're building for.
