Welcome to Skillday. These terms are an agreement between you and Barlas Creative Private Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("Skillday," "we," "us"). By using skillday.app or the Skillday learning platform (together, the "Service"), you agree to them. We've written them to be readable - plain language first, legalese only where necessary.
You must be 18 or olderto create an account, join the waitlist, or make a purchase. Skillday is designed for children aged 10–14, but children use it only through an account created and managed by their parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for your child's use of the Service and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Skillday provides short, story-driven lessons on practical life skills - starting with money - along with real-world exercises and optional parent guides. It is an educational product. It is not financial, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a school curriculum, tutoring service, or exam-preparation program. Real-world exercises (like comparing prices at a shop) are suggestions for learning; you decide what is appropriate and safe for your child, and supervision is your responsibility.
Keep your login credentials safe - you're responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it updated. One account covers one household; don't share access outside your family. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment provider (currently Razorpay); we don't store your card or bank details.
No auto-renewal traps:annual plans do not silently renew. We'll notify you before your plan expires, and renewal requires your action or explicit consent to auto-renewal at signup, clearly disclosed.
We may change prices for future purchases; changes never apply retroactively to what you've already bought, and founding-member price locks are honored.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
When you buy a plan, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licensefor your household to access the courses your plan includes, for the duration your plan covers ("lifetime" for a single course means the life of that course on our platform, which we commit to keeping available for at least 3 years from your purchase).
You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, publicly screen, or create derivative works from Skillday content, or share your account beyond your household. Parent guides are for use with your own child, not for redistribution or commercial teaching.
All content, characters, illustrations, code, and trademarks (including "Skillday") remain the property of Barlas Creative Private Limited or its licensors.
Don't misuse the Service: no attempting to breach security, scraping, reverse-engineering, uploading malicious code, impersonating others, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that do.
We work hard to keep Skillday available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add, or retire features and courses. If we retire a course you have lifetime access to before our availability commitment ends, we'll offer a fair remedy (equivalent access or a proportionate refund).
Joining the waitlist creates no payment obligation. We'll contact you (typically on WhatsApp) with launch details. Founding-member benefits are limited and allocated in waitlist order.
The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Skillday teaches concepts and habits; we make no guarantees about specific outcomes for your child - anyone who does is selling you something else.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under consumer protection legislation.
You can stop using Skillday and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telanganahave exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have to approach consumer forums under applicable law. We'd rather resolve things directly - write to us first.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll post updates here and, for material changes, notify you by WhatsApp or email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
